Особенности применения КБМ

Каждый водитель имеет свой КБМ класс и соответствующий ему коэффициент (он может быть как повышающим, так и понижающим стоимость полиса). Класс присваивается на основании сведений о количестве аварий за предыдущие годы страхования.

Также КБМ будет зависеть от того, был ли перерыв в страховании более одного года или нет, оформляется полис впервые или же происходит его пролонгация (продление).

КБМ класс рассчитывается один раз за период действия полиса, этот период может быть меньше года. При заключении нового договора страхования сумма полиса может быть увеличена или уменьшена (в зависимости от того, были ли аварии по вине водителя). Коэффициент бонус-малус не будет учтен, если Вы пропустили год страхования.
